It's the traveling that ate up the Amber time and required the hellriding. Especially since the couple hours spent closest to Amber are a loss. A couple days in a fast-time locale are doable. (Honestly, who keeps track? Unless it's extravagant or there's an actual race between players).

The reason I brought it up was more about the return hellride. Tiring stuff, hellriding. Well, hellsailing in this case.
