If he thinks he can actually make it work, he'll try his hand at making a Trump artifact; something simple is probably best, so he'll try to make a shield (simple round shield, three-foot diameter) with an imbedded Trump image (of Garm) to make it Powered By Trump
If he doesn't think it'll work, he'll just speed up time until someone gives him a call. |

What's he want the image of Garm to do? Just making the shield more effective (ie passive use)

It's a tough task, but Gareth accomplishes it. It takes more out of him than he expected it to, but he's quick to recover. Julian checks in with him once and decides to come back when he's done.
On cue, he arrives while Gareth is still resting from his labors. "Interesting device," he comments while examining the shield. "If you know how to make such a thing, there's a trick to getting it done more easily. Dworkin and Dad could do it, but I never had the knack." He smiles the catbird smile, returns the shield to its place and asks, "Interested?" Pippin: Are we lost? Merry: No Pippin: I think we are Merry: Shh. Gandalf's thinkin' Pippin: Merry? Merry: What? Pippin: I'm hungry |

Wren escorts Gareth to a meeting with Morphis, who does indeed request a favor of her. His kin are willing to insert Gareth into the abyss where other Amberites entered and protect his method in and out. Wren will be inserted at a later date, after the (still unspecified) favor is performed. She agrees. Then Gareth is escorted to the edge of the abyss where he meets a man who doesn't introduce himself. Wren's associate, Morphis, explains the man is a half-demon abyss diver and that he will use the Logrus to lower Gareth into the abyss. Demons in Morphis' employ will guard the tendril of Logrus so that Gareth may use it to return when desired.
